3 prompts
Split a dinner bill
Our ChatGPT result had editable bill, tip and group size inputs, with a total and per-person share.
Customize it: Change the starting bill and group size. Ask for a different currency label if needed, then verify the calculation.
Create an interactive bill splitter I can use directly in this conversation, using Intelligent UI rather than a code block or Canvas. Use English for every label and all explanations. Start with a $120 dinner bill, 18% tip, and 4 people. Let me change the bill, tip percentage, and number of people, and show the total and amount per person updating live. Keep the explanation brief.
Create a workshop form
Our ChatGPT result included required-field feedback, answer review, a simulated success state and reset.
Customize it: Replace the workshop sessions or add a feedback rating. Keep it a simulation with synthetic data while testing.
Create an interactive workshop signup form directly in this conversation using Intelligent UI, with all text in English. Include name, email, experience level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced), preferred session (Designing prompts, Building interactive tools), and a checkbox for agreeing to receive this workshop confirmation. Show clear required-field and email validation, a review step, and a success state. This is a demo only: do not send or store data, do not subscribe anyone, and use synthetic sample information. Do not provide source code or open Canvas.
Build a solar system quiz
Our ChatGPT result showed five questions, explanations, a final score and restart. One Next action briefly reported an error.
Customize it: Change the topic, difficulty or question count. Verify each answer and explanation against reliable sources.
Build an interactive five-question quiz about the solar system that I can answer directly in this chat using Intelligent UI. Use only English. Show one multiple-choice question at a time, let me choose an answer, give a short explanation, track my score, and offer a restart at the end. Do not give me source code or open Canvas. Start with question one.

How to write an Intelligent UI prompt
Name the task, the controls, the starting values and the feedback you expect. Ask for English labels if you want an English interface. For a demo form, explicitly request synthetic data and no external submission.
These prompts produced working interfaces in our test conversations. They do not guarantee the same layout or behavior in every account. Read the troubleshooting notes.
Name the task: calculate a share, review a signup or practice a topic.
List the controls: editable numbers, dropdowns, checkboxes or answer choices.
Specify the result: a live total, review summary or feedback after each answer.
Set the starting values, language and limits before requesting extra features.
Change one input and verify that the result updates correctly.
A reusable prompt pattern
Create an interactive [tool] directly in this ChatGPT conversation using Intelligent UI. Use [language] labels. Include [inputs and starting values]. Let me [action] and show [updated result or feedback]. Keep the explanation brief.
Do these prompts always produce an interactive answer?
No. ChatGPT chooses a format for the task, and availability depends on your account, workspace, reasoning option and supported client. A prompt can describe the interaction you want, but it cannot guarantee a layout or enable access.
Do I need a special phrase to use Intelligent UI?
No special phrase is required. Name the task, the inputs you want to change and the result or feedback you expect. Clear details help communicate the request, but do not override feature availability.
Are these official OpenAI prompts?
No. The three recipes are written by this independent guide and were tested in ChatGPT on October 8, 2026. The reusable prompt pattern and other adaptations are suggestions, not tested transcripts.
